Stressed because of large skin pores is a daily problem for many women. There are many ways to naturally reduce the size of your pores, especially on your face. To begin the process, you must first clean your face.
Cleaning your skin removes dust, dirt, and even dead skin cells that build upon the skin. When you clean your face you want to dampen your face before applying the cleanser. Gently foam up cleanser on the face in small circles, moving in an upper direction. Rinse well, spending twice as much time and energy in rinsing then you did lathering. You want to make sure all of the cleansers are removed to keep pores open and clean and not clogged.
Now you are ready to firm up those pores. You need to consider if your skin type is oily, dry, and normal, or even a combination of both. The secret weapon for this accomplishment is EGGS. A natural face mask made with eggs provides sustenance and a temporary firming of the pores.
For oily skin, you need to use only the egg white. Separate the whites from the yolk and whisk in a bowl. Apply on the face and let dry for ten to twenty minutes. You will feel the tightening of the skin as it dries. Next, rinse off your face with cool water, and pat dry.
The egg white mask is also good for those of you who suffer from acne, pimples, and other skin issues. After using on regular basis you will notice the pores of your skin start to reduce in size.
For dry skin, you need to use the egg yolk alone, as it contains natural fat. The yolk also contains retinol, which in turn is good for fine lines and scarring from acne. You need to separate the yolk from the egg white. Whisk in a bowl and apply liberally to the face. Let set on the face for ten to twenty minutes until you feel the stiffening of your skin. Rinse the mask off your face for several minutes and pat dry.
For normal or combination skin you can actually take a whole egg and whisk in a bowl. You apply the mixture to your face and let it dry. The face will feel tightened when dry, in about ten to twenty minutes. Rinse off your face and gently pat dry.
You can also add a teaspoon of honey to either mixture above to help soften the skin and add a more pleasant smell.
Another mask you can make in the comfort of your home that will benefit your skin and reduce the pores on your face involves combining a few more ingredients. Take two egg whites and whisk in a bowl. Add 1 to 3 drops of lemon juice and a teaspoon full of mayonnaise. Whisk together until well blended.
You then need to apply a thin layer to your face and let it dry. After it has dried, add another layer of the mixture and again let it dry. Add the third and last layer and let dry. Allow the mixture to stay on your face for about fifteen minutes.
Rinse the dried mixture off your face for several minutes and gently pat dry. This mixture can be used every day until you notice a definite difference in the way your skin looks. You should notice a difference after about three applications.
